Our Story

The Birth of a Vision: The Story of NCCYE

In the heart of Nigeria’s North Central region, a wave of ambition was rising among its young people. Despite their talents, creativity, and resilience, many faced overwhelming obstacles—limited access to funding, inadequate mentorship, and a business ecosystem that was often unwelcoming to young entrepreneurs.

A group of visionary young professionals, business leaders, and policy advocates saw this challenge not as a setback but as an opportunity. They believed that with the right support system, young entrepreneurs could drive economic transformation, create jobs, and position the region as a hub for innovation and enterprise.

In 2023, these changemakers came together to form the North Central Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs (NCCYE)—a movement dedicated to empowering young business minds, advocating for youth-friendly economic policies, and fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem that thrives on innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability.
